About the Organization

A respected, mission-driven community health center is expanding its Women's Health & Obstetrics Department. The clinic provides comprehensive, integrated medical and behavioral healthcare to women of all ages — focusing on preventive, prenatal, and reproductive health services for underserved populations in the Los Angeles area.

You'll join a collaborative, multi-provider women's health team that values work-life balance, continuity of care, and culturally competent medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care (prenatal, postpartum, family planning, preventive health).
  • Perform in-office procedures such as Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals, colposcopy, and endometrial biopsies.
  • Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers (NPs/PAs).
  • Provide contraceptive counseling and gynecologic screenings across the lifespan.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ultrasounds, and labs.
  • Rotate call schedule with other providers (live answering service screens non-urgent calls).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.
  • Maintain EMR documentation consistent with compliance and quality metrics.

Schedule & Patient Load

  • Standard 8-hour clinic shifts (no 10- or 12-hour requirements).
  • See approximately 18–25 patients per day.
  • Shared call rotation (no overnight hospital rounding).

Qualifications

  • MD or DO – Board Certified / Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Current or eligible California medical license and DEA registration.
  • Experience in community or outpatient OB/GYN settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.
  • Comfortable working with diverse and underserved populations.
