8-hour shifts between 06:00 - 18:00 (Monday-Friday)

Position Summary:
The OBGYN Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in providing clinical support to physicians and patients in a fast-paced outpatient women's health setting. This role involves assisting with procedures, managing patient care activities, and ensuring high-quality service across multiple clinic sites. The ideal candidate brings compassion, technical proficiency, and experience in women's health procedures to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support providers in performing OBGYN procedures including PAP, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon placement/removal, and NST monitoring.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure proper sterilization and setup for procedures.
• Administer medications, perform IV insertions and blood draws as per protocol.
• Record patient history, vital signs, and assist in patient education and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Float between designated clinic sites as needed to support departmental needs.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and clinical compliance standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Active California LVN License.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• IV and Blood Draw certification.
• Minimum 2 years of LVN experience, including at least 1 year in an OBGYN or women's health setting.
• Must be fully vaccinated for influenza (no exemptions or declinations).
• Strong understanding of OBGYN procedures and patient care workflows.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in outpatient or clinic-based OBGYN settings.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Familiarity with women's health protocols and patient education practices.
