Employment Litigation Associate Attorney | $260k–$365k| San Francisco, CA, or Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)

An AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its dynamic and nationally recognized team in Palo Alto or San Francisco. This is not a cookie-cutter employment department —you'll work on a diverse range of high-impact matters for clients at the forefront of innovation, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 leaders in technology, life sciences, green energy, and cleantech .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigate and advise on trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenants, contract disputes, and discrimination or harassment matters .
  • Conduct internal investigations and provide strategic counsel on sensitive employment issues.
  • Partner with corporate teams on M&A, spin-outs, and reorganizations , advising on employee transitions and compliance.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, and prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of experience in employment litigation, complex commercial litigation, or counseling.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • California Bar admission required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
