Position Purpose:
The Manager, Employment Marketing will lead the employment marketing strategy to attract and engage top talent, with a focus on our hardest-to-fill roles. The Manager, Employment Marketing will lead marketing initiatives that are integral to The Home Depot's ability to stand out as an employer of choice in the marketplace. Success in this role requires close partnership with the company's corporate functional leaders, the Diversity & Inclusion team, as well as Talent Acquisition and HR leaders to identify priorities and key target audiences to develop a marketing approach that complements business objectives. The Manager, Employment Marketing should be experienced in conducting market research and leveraging data and measures of ROI to develop and implement strategic and creative solutions that are built for scale. A successful candidate will exhibit a keen attention to detail, be a strong cross-functional partner and approach work with a passion for customer service and delivering high-quality results
Key Responsibilities:
- 34% Analyze factors that affect work-life choice, and data around the labor market and competitive landscape for the purpose of developing data-driven strategies to attract top talent that matches the skills needed for our hard-to-fill corporate roles and will thrive in The Home Depot's culture
- 33% Lead the candidate and talent engagement strategy for hard-to-fill roles within our corporate functions
- 33% Develop targeted campaigns under The Home Depot brand that enhance the effectiveness of our hard-to-fill recruitment strategies, in partnership with functional leaders, Talent Acquisition and HR leaders, Corporate Communications, Diversity & Inclusion and other internal groups

- This position reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.
- This position has 0 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications on behalf of a large, national brand
- Proven experience in strategic and creative thinking, verbal and written communication, project and event planning and management, and the ability to influence without authority
- Experience managing external vendors and internal partners on deadline-driven projects, as well as comprehensive strategy
- Talented at market research and using data and measures of ROI to inform business strategy and decisions
- Relentless focus on providing excellent customer service and being a fantastic cross-functional partner, while building an approach that is in service to the overall organization
- Strong presentation skills, including building presentations and experience/comfort presenting to leaders
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Strong commitment to following up and following through with priorities and being a positive team player
