Position Title: Social Media Intern

The Social Media Intern will assist Corporate Communications by creating a social media content calendar for the Esperion corporate social media channels to include drafting language and graphics for posts, optimizing reach and engagement, and more. Position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week for 6 months.

Preferred Location: Remote – US 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

The intern will be heavily involved with optimizing Esperion's corporate social media channels by:

Creating a comprehensive monthly social media content calendarDeveloping engaging content (text, images, videos) for various social media platformsCreating graphics and videos to accompany social media postsFinding reputable sources for content Recommending ways to enhance reach – such as boosting posts, hashtags etc.Monitoring performance and adjusting content as needed

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • Must be actively enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor degree with an graphic design/marketing focus or other related area.
  • Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
  • Experience creating social media graphics and videos using Canva (must be prepared to show samples)
  • Experience writing content specifically for social media
  • Enthusiasm for social media and digital marketing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Self-motivated and able to think critically and work independently 
  • Detail-oriented, accurate and thorough
