We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Diesel Technician to join our growing team We are looking for someone with a strong background in diesel truck repair, and a great work ethic. This individual will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy duty and medium duty trucks within our state-of-the art dealership facility Experience greater job satisfaction today at General Truck Sales

Essential Duties:

  • Perform work as listed on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repair.
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Note additional repair work needed.
  • Participate in necessary manufacturer or dealership training courses.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Tech School preferred.
  • 1+ years working as a service technician
  • Ability to perform diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components
  • Work well with others
  • Related experiences might include Fleet Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Trailer Chassis Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Master Mechanic, Medium Duty Mechanic
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to pass background check, MVR, & drug screen required
