Jupiter Pointe Marina & Boutique Hotel | Tequesta, FL

About the Position: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Property Maintenance Coordinator to maintain and oversee our waterfront marina and small hotel property. This is a full-time position ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities in excellent condition and enjoys working in a dynamic waterfront environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC troubleshooting
  • Maintain marina docks, pilings, and waterfront structures
  • Conduct daily property inspections and address maintenance issues promptly
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs, obtain competitive quotes, and manage vendor relationships
  • Maintain grounds, landscaping, and outdoor common areas
  • Respond to guest and tenant maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, and equipment as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Assist with storm preparation and emergency response
  • Be available for on-call emergencies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of handyman/maintenance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Experience with marine/waterfront property maintenance preferred
  • Ability to operate power tools and maintenance equipment safely
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in Florida weather
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
