The Department of Medicine is comprised of 11 divisions representing various subspecialties. The Division of Hospital Medicine & Palliative Medicine delivers high-acuity, multidisciplinary care across the enterprise and supports a growing faculty base engaged in clinical, research, and academic missions. The administrative team provides critical infrastructure to support faculty operations, clinical scheduling, onboarding, academic actions, and institutional compliance, ensuring the division's continued success and growth.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent is a key driver of operational efficiency and effectiveness within the Division of Hospital Medicine & Palliative Medicine. By ensuring the smooth execution of critical administrative functions, this position directly supports the division's clinical and academic missions, enabling faculty and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to focus on patient care and research. The incumbent's responsibilities—including managing complex clinical scheduling, facilitating timely onboarding, ensuring compliance training, tracking billing and productivity, and maintaining essential division records—are critical to maintaining uninterrupted service delivery and supporting data-driven decision-making. Without this role, the division's operational cohesion would be compromised, negatively affecting patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and academic success.
