Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Provide basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations.
  • Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of basic life support techniques.
  • Experience in assisted living or acute care settings preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is beneficial.
