The Role

Pressed is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to lead strategic planning and execution across retail, digital, and wholesale channels. Reporting directly to our new CMO, this role offers the opportunity to shape the next phase of our brand and business growth—building the marketing function alongside a collaborative, forward-thinking leadership team.

This is a role for a strategic builder: someone who can connect long-term brand goals with near-term business priorities, develop clear annual and seasonal marketing plans, and bring new product launches to market with precision and impact.

Responsibilities Include

  • Strategic Planning & Leadership: Build and manage the annual and seasonal marketing calendar, ensuring clear priorities, alignment to revenue targets, and integrated execution across channels.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Develop strategic launch plans for new products and initiatives—defining objectives, target audiences, and cross-channel activation plans that drive awareness, conversion, and sales.
  • Integrated Marketing Execution: Lead the creation and deployment of coordinated marketing programs across retail, digital, and wholesale, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and business alignment.
  • Performance & Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to assess campaign performance and refine plans to maximize business impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Digital, Retail, Product, and Operations teams to ensure strategic cohesion and flawless execution from concept through post-launch analysis.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee marketing budget allocation and optimization, ensuring efficient use of resources tied to business outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team that thrives on collaboration, accountability, and results.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years in a Director or Senior Director role within a high-growth consumer brand.
  • Proven ability to create and execute integrated marketing plans that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong understanding of retail, digital, and wholesale environments.
  • Demonstrated success in product and campaign launches that align marketing performance with business goals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in wellness, health, or better-for-you consumer categories a strong plus.
  • Hybrid schedule (3–4 days/week in our Culver City office).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (3-4 days per week) in our Culver City office.
