Our client, a premier law firm, is seeking an experienced Sr. Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a highly regarded law firm that represents a wide range of clients in sophisticated commercial real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Prepare, review, and organize a variety of legal documents such as contracts, deeds, leases, closing statements, and loan documents.
- Conduct title, survey, and zoning reviews; identify issues and work with attorneys to resolve them.
- Coordinate and manage real estate closings, including drafting closing checklists, scheduling meetings, and ensuring all necessary documents are in place.
- Communicate with clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders, and other third parties involved in transactions.
- Perform due diligence, including reviewing public records, obtaining UCC searches, and ordering title commitments and policies.
- Maintain and organize files, ensuring accurate and timely filing of documents with appropriate authorities.
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed in real estate matters.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions.
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Proficiency in title and survey review, as well as knowledge of closing procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
