Our client a Hedge Fund located in Midtown Manhattan is looking to add to their growing IR team. This is for an IR Associate who can review and put together presentations, create documents and decks, understands strategies and funds, etc. This role is strictly within IR and there is no fund raising or business development responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Detailed data/content review and sign off on all firm presentation materials (8 one-pagers, 6 presentations, 2 data books, 5 quarterly letters, 2 semi-annual letters) – maintain strict monthly/quarterly timelines
· Secondary coverage on updating/maintenance of the above presentation materials
Other Responsibilities:
· CRM management (creating entries, managing distribution lists, logging notes/updating existing entries, explore CRM functionality to create/run customized reports)
· Maintain external performance/consultant databases & award submissions for all strategies
· Manage and distribute customized monthly/quarterly reports to strict timelines.
· Circulate prep materials prior to calls/meetings & take notes on investor calls/meetings
· Backup phone coverage to office manager
Longer-Term Responsibilities:
· Support RFP/RFI process & ad hoc questionnaires
Requirements/Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience
· Organized/meticulous with an extreme attention to detail
· Time/project management skills with a focus on weekly/monthly consistency across projects and processes
· Knowledge of financial markets strongly preferred
· Able to learn about and cogently articulate (verbal/written) all elements of the business
· Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word; Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop a plus
Notes:
· Associate-level role; to report to Director of Investor Relations
· Another Associate in IR department is primary coverage on marketing materials maintenance/production
130-150k + bonus and paid benefits.
