Job Summary

anthonyBarnum Public Relations, a tech PR firm representing some of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., is seeking an Account Manager or Account Supervisor with at least four years of experience to join its growing Austin team. The Account Supervisor manages multiple campaigns independently, executing strategies aligned with each client's business and marketing goals. This role serves as both a strategic advisor and team leader, responsible for driving campaign results and ensuring client success. Additionally, the Account Supervisor plays a key role in mentoring and developing junior staff to strengthen team performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Account Supervisor holds a wide range of responsibilities that are central to maintaining strong client partnerships and media relationships, including:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive client programs based on a strategic analysis of campaign objectives, in collaboration with senior leadership as needed.
  • Lead and oversee multiple campaigns at once, ensuring timelines, quality, and outcomes are met.
  • Create and manage detailed campaign timelines, effectively allocating team resources to meet goals.
  • Delegate campaign tasks to junior staff and provide clear direction within the agency framework.
  • Drive high-level campaign execution, including active participation in media relations.
  • Maintain accountability for all campaign deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and optimize hours and resources to maximize value for both the client and the agency.
  • Manage campaign budgets and make adjustments as needed to align with client priorities.
  • Demonstrate emerging skills in conceptualizing and managing campaigns from strategy development through tactical execution.
  • Contribute to the firm's internal marketing initiatives and process improvements as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of public relations experience, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience and understanding of B2B technology companies.
  • Strong background in national and trade media campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or another writing-intensive field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $95,000.00 per year
