Strategic Account Support Specialist

ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Strategic Account Support Specialist.

This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and genetic data management, account reporting, tool creation and maintenance, as well as training for the strategic account (SAM), technical and genetic services (TAG) and commercial teams. The focus is specifically on large-scale dairy operations (Strategic Accounts) as defined by the Genus global strategic account program. This role partners with global strategic account managers, technical and genetic services teams, Product Development team, and customer stakeholders to deliver data-driven genetic and technical solutions that align with business objectives, improve herd performance, and create long-term value for both the customer and the company.

The position is a U.S. based remote with limited travel up to 5% depending on business needs.

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $80,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

• Manage and execute strategic account data reporting, including creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards for single and multi-site dairy operations.
• Develop customized data tools and reports in collaboration with account managers and customers to meet specific business and herd performance needs.
• Train internal teams (SAM, TAG, and commercial) on Power BI reporting, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
• Translate complex genetic and genomic data into actionable herd improvement strategies aligned with customer goals.
• Conduct economic analyses and ROI validations of genetic and technical service initiatives.
• Provide expert consultation on genomic testing, breeding program design, and herd data analysis.
• Analyze large datasets (herd performance, genomic, reproductive, and production data) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic account stakeholders, clearly communicating complex genetic concepts and insights.
• Monitor, benchmark, and report herd performance against KPIs, providing insight into when results deviate from targets.
• Lead development of decision-support tools, training materials, and customer-facing presentations to enhance program adoption and value delivery.

Basic Qualifications: (required)

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Data Analytics, Genetics, Dairy Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience in dairy genetics, herd data management, or technical services.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and herd management software (Dairy Comp, BoviSync, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Excellent communication and training abilities, with a customer-first mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, global teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, workshops, and team collaboration.
