Recruiting Former Top U.S. Private High School Admissions Officers (Consulting / Coaching Role)

We are seeking former admissions officers from Top-30 U.S. private high schools to work as independent admissions coaches for highly motivated international and domestic high school applicants.

This role is selective and designed for professionals who bring first-hand institutional insight into elite boarding and day school admissions.

Target School Background (One or more required)

Applicants must have direct admissions experience or verified professional involvement with one or more of the following schools:

  • Concord Academy
  • Suffield Academy
  • The Hotchkiss School
  • The Loomis Chaffee School
  • Deerfield Academy
  • Choate Rosemary Hall
  • Phillips Exeter Academy
  • Phillips Academy Andover
  • St. Mark's School
  • Groton School
  • Middlesex School
  • The Taft School
  • Milton Academy
  • St. Paul's School

Role Responsibilities

  • Coach students on boarding / private high school applications (Grades 6–11 entry)
  • Provide strategy-level guidance, including:
  • School fit and positioning
  • Application narrative and student profile evaluation
  • Interview preparation (AO perspective)
  • Admissions standards, priorities, and decision logic
  • Offer admissions insight, not essay writing or administrative work
  • Collaborate with an existing counseling team (clear boundaries & professional respect)

Required Qualifications

  • Former Admissions Officer / Admissions Committee Member, OR
  • Former senior admissions-related role (Director, Associate Director, Reader with decision influence)

Applicants must provide proof of connection, such as:

  • Employment history (LinkedIn, CV, school website archive)
  • Recommendation or verification from former admissions colleagues
  • Documented professional affiliation with the listed schools

Independent counselors without direct institutional admissions experience will not be considered.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $100.00 per hour
