Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from initial estimation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control, along with excellent negotiation skills.

Duties

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects using Bluebeam and HeavyBid software.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
  • Oversee the preparation of contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Implement cost control measures to maintain project profitability.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, including any changes in scope or budget.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and HeavyBid for construction estimating.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in securing contracts and pricing agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction estimating processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with construction management principles and practices.
  • Experience with cost control techniques to manage budgets effectively.
  • Understanding of contracts related to construction projects.
  • Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $84,605.58 per year
