About the Role

We're seeking an experienced technician who will oversee day-to-day operations of technicians, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in all repairs and training activities. This role requires strong technical expertise in diagnostics, hybrid/electric systems, and 12-volt electrical systems, as well as proven leadership and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of FD&R Technicians.
  • Oversee workflow, scheduling, and task assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and repair procedures.
  • Provide guidance on complex diagnostic and repair issues.
  • Partner with FD&R Trainers to support technician development.
  • Track KPIs and team performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with management on staffing and operational needs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience; ASE certifications a plus.
  • Advanced diagnostic and repair knowledge (12-volt, hybrid, EV systems).
  • Familiarity with autonomous, electric, or hybrid vehicle technology
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, OEM systems, and repair documentation.
  • Trade school or equivalent technical background preferred.
