Overview

We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and detail-oriented Data Equipment assembly Technician to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in assembly. This candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process of our security monitoring camera boxes, ensuring that products are built accurately and efficiently. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable working independently and can manage tasks and weekly production goals. This role also involves light computer use and shipping-related responsibilities as well as a strong focus on safety and quality.

Duties

  • Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Accurately pick, assemble and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished goods.
  • Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with Operations team members to optimize workflow schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during assembly.
  • Operate basic computer systems for tracking, inventory and shipping.
  • Follow established protocols and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in assembly, a distribution center or warehouse environment role is required.
  • Familiarity with order picking, packing processes, and materials handling techniques.
  • Basic computer skills (email, label printing, simple data entry, inventory).
  • Ability to operate forklifts and cherry pickers safely; certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during assembly tasks.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently independently minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with shipping procedures (UPS, FedEx), a plus.
  • Good physical condition; able to lift up to 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
