POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Survey Director at LJA Surveying, this position is responsible for administrative and field operations in the survey operations.  The candidate is responsible for budget, client relations and business development. 

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Plans and directs the activities of the Survey Division
• Oversee surveying projects and ensure that work is executed on time, within budget and in accordance with client and company requirements.
• Prepares project time and cost estimates to include manpower projects and requisitioning/purchasing of equipment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Professional Licensed Surveyor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15 years' experience in the industry
• 5 years of project management experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships
