Job Overview

Coaxion Radiology Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our finance & accounting team. This role is responsible for managing client invoices, cash receipts, vendor payments, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in managing both accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist

  • Client Invoicing:

    Prepare and submit monthly client invoices in accordance with individual client contract terms. Utilize and enhance data sources to support accurate billing. Establish invoicing processes for new clients based on contract details.
  • Cash Management:

    Manage daily cash receipts processes and reconcile bank account balances to ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
  • Accounts Receivable:

    Track outstanding balances, generate and manage AR aging reports, and oversee client communication regarding aged accounts receivables.
  • Discrepancy Resolution:

    Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies between invoices and client contracts, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • Vendor Management:

    Maintain up-to-date vendor records, including tax documentation (W-9s), and serve as the main point of contact for vendor payment inquiries.
  • Payment Preparation:

    Process payments to vendors according to company policies and timelines, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconciliation & Month-End Close:

    Perform account reconciliations, maintain subledgers, and support the month-end closing process with timely and accurate entries.

Qualifications & Skills of the Accounting Specialist

  • Proficiency with accounting and finance tools, including QuickBooks, Excel, and
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex billing or payment issues
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience of the Accounting Specialist

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, billing, or finance role
  • Familiarity with client contract billing terms and vendor payment processes
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized company or fast-paced work environment
