PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our personal line clients. You will also provide education on available products/coverages and conduct renewal reviews.
This will be an on-site position with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week + 2 days from home) once training is complete.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a liaison and first point of contact for assigned clients, producer(s), and underwriters.
- Educate clients on available coverages + identify opportunities for additional products.
- Conduct renewal reviews to identify remarket opportunities based on current rates and coverage needs.
- Contact clients when premium changes occur due to carrier changes.
- Document all correspondence with clients and carriers in client management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Active P&C license or the ability to obtain a license within 90 days of employment.
- A proven ability to work in a team environment and meet strict deadlines - all while providing exemplary customer service.
- Experience effectively managing multiple tasks and making decisions with limited oversight.
- Strong organization/communication skills - including the ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Prior insurance experience preferred.
