With us, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Earn excellent pay instructing students in a group lesson setting at various public schools on the fundamentals of music production.
  • Guide and manage groups of students from 6th-8th grade.
  • Develop and exercise effective classroom control techniques.
  • Lead your classroom in demonstrating their newfound skills through culminating, end of programming showcase performances.
  • Follow our creative lesson plans, while getting the chance to design your own that engage students and establish clear learning goals.

To join our team, we require:

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability for daytime-afternoon classes on weekdays (2:30-6:00 PM).
  • Participation in training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Consistent communication through email, text, and phone.
  • Successful completion of a Livescan DOJ/FBI background check and TB test.

Become a part of Musical Minds Academy and help shape the next generation of musicians

Compensation: Starts at $55-$60/hour or $120/day DOE for instruction time. Training sessions and other non- instructional responsibilities will be paid at $25/hour.

Schedule: Fridays, 3:20-5:00 P.M.

Experience: At least (2) years of prior teaching experience required. Must know how to effectively produce and teach within Soundtrap (iOS) music production software.

Note: Experience in special education, childhood development, preschool, early childhood education, behavior management, tutoring is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
