Choreographer - Addams Family

Mid-Peninsula High School's joyful theatre program is performing the youth edition of Addams Family (70 minute show) Our small department (in a 116 student high school) typically consists of 12-16 actors per show and 10-12 technicians per show.

Compensation

$28-32/hr DOE. Contractor will invoice for services.

Hours

~30-45 hrs total.

Timeline

Project-based contract covering rehearsals and performances for Spring 2026 (Shows March

Schedule Commitments

  • Attend rehearsals (scheduled based on availability, NOT CALLED TO ALL REHEARSALS) between Jan 6–March 13 (Mon, Tues & Thurs - 3:30-6PM).
  • Attend a portion of tech rehearsals: March PM).

Scope of Work

  • Create and teach choreography for select musical numbers in the show that is appropriate for the skill level of the group.
  • Work closely with the show's director to ensure a cohesive show vision.
  • Bring a supportive, joyful, fun attitude towards learning dance

Notes

  • This is a short-term, independent contractor role for the Spring 2026 musical production only.
  • No employee benefits provided.
