Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the building and grounds to be safe, decent and sanitary, including some preventive maintenance and housekeeping common areas 
  • Regularly respond to tenant concerns by completing repairs/submitting repair requests and communicating and enforcing rules of occupancy.
  • Promptly responds to urgent/critical tenant issues, including requests on nights and weekends.
  • Is responsive and respectful towards tenants, helping to problem solve and requesting assistance from Home Office if situations warrants.  
  • Reports known safety accidents and hazards in a timely manner. 
  • Performs routine safety checks. 
  • Collect rents, and maintain necessary records.  
  • Works independently and makes day to day decisions without close supervision. 
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of related work experience in a human service setting or housing management position.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of older adults or people with diagnosis mental illness.
  • Knowledge of basic building maintenance and general housekeeping techniques and procedures.
