Description

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Treasury Management Sales Officer to join our team. Essential Functions

1. Business Development & Sales: Prospects and sources new commercial clients for treasury management services; develops and executes sales strategies to achieve deposit and fee income goals; prepares and delivers compelling presentations, proposals, and pricing pro formas.

2. Relationship Management: Maintains and expands relationships with existing clients through regular reviews and consultative engagement; partners with Relationship Managers and other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities. Maintains contact with top and high priority customers.

3. Product Expertise & Advisory: Serves as an internal expert on treasury management products and services; provides strategic advisory services to clients on cash management, fraud prevention, and payment solutions. Internally champions new product development and pricing. 

4. Market & Industry Engagement: Stays informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies; represents the Bank at community events and industry conferences to build brand presence.

5. Maintains a current knowledge of Bank regulations. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements 

1. Sales & Revenue Metrics: Net New Revenue from new treasury clients and cross-sell opportunities; Deposit Growth attributable to treasury solutions.

2. Client Acquisition & Retention: New Client Count onboarded; Churn Rate of clients discontinuing services.

3. Sales Process Efficiency: Pipeline Health (volume and quality of opportunities); Time to Close from initial contact to deal closure.

4. Consistently demonstrates the behaviors that embody River City Bank's Values.

5. Good working relationships and coordination exist with all co-workers and managers. 


Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college in accounting, business, or finance or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

  • Five plus years of treasury management/commercial loan experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Advanced knowledge of banking payment system regulations, transaction processing and corporate treasury functions. 

Knowledge Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed established sales goals within expected timelines. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in personal computers and related software.

This position requires regular travel and client-facing activities, with the expectation of significant time spent in the field developing new business relationships.
