This role demands strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and execution oversight to deliver optimized CAD infrastructure for advanced technology nodes. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Engineering organization and Program Managers across Qualcomm sites to plan, monitor and deliver to tens of SOCs every year. The ideal candidate would be able to leverage their engineering background to proactively lead the planning and execution of cutting-edge CAD tools and flow development & deployment from concept to mass commercialization. The opportunity to work with industry leading foundries and global engineering teams on latest technology nodes is a key highlight.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership of Program Management team for CAD tool & flow enablementManages and takes responsibility for CAD tools/flow enablement across industry leading technology nodes.Lead the strategic roadmap planning process for CAD team – develop forecasts for portfolio of programs, identify resource demands and gaps and secure approval for resource funding from executive management.Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope) for Technology enablement across multiple Process nodes, which includes schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholders identification, communication, scoping, and prioritization.Partner with Engineering leads and Program Managers across sites to deliver resource and schedule forecasts, demand, and gap analysis etc. for Product Council Reviews.Interface with EDA vendors, IT, and internal Engineering stakeholders to resolve tool issues and infrastructure gaps.Maintain dashboards and trackers for flow health, tool status, and project coverage.Present updates in weekly CAD forums and summitsDrives teams to identify program issues/risks, and creates a risk mitigation plan for complex programs.Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing continuous process improvement initiativesRequired SkillsDeep understanding of CAD tools (e.g., Innovus, PrimeTime, Tweaker, Spyglass, JasperGold).Experience in SoC design flows, including synthesis, PnR, STA, PV, PDN, and DFT.Strong program management and stakeholder communication skills.Familiarity with AWS-based CAD validation and flow migration.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.• 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.PMP Certification10+ years of Program Management or related work experiencePrior experience in managing CAD enablement for advanced nodes.Proven track record in driving tool efficiency and flow optimization.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex dependencies Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
