Account Director – Banking (Capital Markets Focus)

The Role

We're supporting a leading global technology services consultancy seeking an
Account Director
to drive growth across key banking clients, with a particular focus on the
Capital Markets
segment.

This is a senior, client-facing position owning strategic relationships across some of the world's leading financial institutions. You'll partner with C-suite stakeholders within global banks to deliver value-driven digital transformation across data, cloud, and AI.

It's a role for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of how technology enables success within investment banking and broader financial services.

This position is focused on clients across the
US Banking and Capital Markets
sectors, operating within
Eastern Time (ET)
.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of strategic relationships across Tier 1 banking clients
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Identify and convert new opportunities within existing accounts across Capital Markets divisions
  • Engage at senior stakeholder and C-suite level to understand business challenges and align technology solutions
  • Partner closely with consulting, delivery, and technical teams to ensure delivery excellence
  • Maintain commercial oversight of pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics


Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven background in
    technology consulting or digital transformation services
    within
    Banking or Capital Markets
  • Strong existing relationships with
    Tier 1 investment banks
    such as
    J.P. Morgan, Jefferies, or Goldman Sachs
  • Experience leading large-scale engagements and managing multi-million-dollar portfolios
  • Deep understanding of investment banking operations, risk, and technology change programmes
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills at executive level
  • Experience in a senior account leadership or client director role within a global consulting or technology services environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new opportunities and grow long-term partnerships


The Package

  • Base salary:
    $150,000 – $200,000
  • Double OTE
