Job Summary
The mission of the Marketing Specialist is to provide marketing services and support to J&J establishments. This role will work closely with the Strategic Territory Managers on identifying and executing marketing strategies for our customer base.
Job Responsibilities
- Create marketing plans and coordinate marketing requests for licensed establishments with Strategic Territory Managers.
- Utilize reporting and apply analytical knowledge to develop strategic marketing campaigns for customers.
- Produce creative textual content for social media graphics/posts and manage social media assets for establishments within assigned region.
- Coordinate establishment in-location promotions and sweepstakes.
- Manage vendor coordination of marketing/promotional material, billing, and applicable internal documentation.
- Assist and provide recommendations in the design process for supporting marketing/promotional materials.
- Manage inventory related to signage and promotional material.
- Attend in-person and virtual meetings with customers to discuss marketing strategies present campaigns and provide performance insight.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
B.S. in Marketing or related field.
Qualifications and Experience
- Familiarity of graphic design principles.
- Understanding of marketing principles and strategy.
- Experience with social media including Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business.
- Proven creative writing skills.
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills who possesses the ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and across departments.
- Innovative thinker.
- Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
- 1-year minimum marketing experience.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is low.
