What you'll do?
As part of the local management team, the Director, Supply Chain and Logistics will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain management process within an organization. This includes strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Ensures that the supply chain operates efficiently, cost-effectively, and sustainably, while meeting the organization's business goals and objectives. The role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and an in-depth understanding of global supply chain operations.

Salary Range:
$175,000 - $200,000 + bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the Company's overall business objectives
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management and distribution.
  • Lead international supply chain operations, optimizing global sourcing and distribution networks. Manage complexities of cross-border logistics, tariffs, and international regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Sales, Procurement, Production and Finance, to align supply chain activities with company-wide goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that customer demands, financial forecasts and production schedules are integrated into supply chain planning.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure the best pricing, quality and service levels. Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve supply chain performance, increase productivity,
  • and reduce costs.
  • Lead continuous improvement & efficiencies around newer technologies around Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives include reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and promoting sustainable sourcing.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, delays, and regulatory challenges. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
  • Act as true business partner and activity contributes to all companywide strategic initiatives.
  • Managing business relationship and expectations from BU and Corporate management.
  • Build, lead and mentor a high performing supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and result's driven environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics management. Preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing, spare parts/equipment environment with international presence.
  • Education: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership in a senior supply chain role, preferably as Director.
  • Experience of working in multinational companies with different business unit and geographical set up.
  • Experience in managing large-scale supply chain operations including international export and import across multiple locations and countries.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.
  • Well versed with all supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing companywide supply chain strategy in a complex & global environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with experience leading diverse teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Travel may be required for supplier meetings, site visits, or trade shows.
  • Occasional work in warehouse or manufacturing environments may be necessary.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
