Sureify is modernizing the life insurance industry through cutting-edge SaaS platforms that help carriers digitally engage, service, and sell to their customers. We're growing fast and looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help scale and secure our cloud-native infrastructure.
What You'll Do- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and automation.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across multiple environments.
- Support containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) and drive best practices for reliability & performance.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to enhance system uptime and incident response.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to strengthen platform architecture.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, systems, and application layers.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps culture across the organization.
- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, GitHub/Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in scripting with Bash and/or Python.
- Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, routing, subnets, load balancers).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
- Kubernetes (EKS) experience.
- Database experience (Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB).
- Knowledge of security best practices, IAM governance, and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience in regulated environments (insurance/finance/healthcare).
