THE ROLE Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a/an Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The purpose of this co-op role is to support process engineers in the chemical cleaning portion of the Billerica filter manufacturing line. Through the collection and analysis of data, their efforts will result in improved first pass yield or reduced process variation.

What You'll Do

  • Collect and summarize data to support or reject a proposal for a process change.
  • Make data-based decisions to release products or address quality concerns.
  • Review procedures for accuracy.
  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of processes.
  • Hands-on work in a cleanroom environment to support manufacturing initiatives. What We Seek
  • Junior or Senior studying Chemical Engineering
  • Detail-oriented
  • Interest in hands-on work

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year

  • Pursuing bachelor's in chemical engineering
  • Graduating

Eligibility

  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Mix of sitting & standing. Manufacturing is within a clean room environment, so co-op must be able to wear a full cleanroom gown for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 20 pounds.
