Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating various types of machinery. This role is essential for producing high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards. The Machinist will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that all specifications are met while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • MUST be able to operate manual machines, including lathes, and mills.
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to produce components accurately.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on tooling design and improvements for efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections using basic math skills and measuring tools to verify the quality of finished products.

Skills

  • Proficiency in manual machining.
  • Manual Lathe, Mill and some grinding experience necessary.
  • Knowledge of machining processes, including some Mazatrol CNC operation.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
