Under close supervision of the Health Program Manager I (HPM I) of the Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) Special Projects Unit, the Student Assistant (SA) performs a variety of administrative tasks for the Jail-Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) Programs; Admission, Evaluation, and Stabilization (AES) centers; Early Access to Stabilization Services (EASS) programs, and Diversion and Community-Based Restoration (DCR) programs.

Working Conditions

  • A majority of the essential functions of this position may be performed via telework and/or flexible scheduling in accordance with DSH PD 5338. Although the ability may be granted, incumbent must be available to report to in-person mandated trainings and essential meetings.

DSH-Sacramento has moved into a modern, sustainable and innovative office building located at 1215 "O" Street, Sacramento, California. Some of the amenities of the new building include the following:
