About the Role

We're looking for an experienced
Controller
to take ownership of our company's financial operations and play a key role in shaping our growth strategy. This is a leadership position that calls for a sharp financial mind, a steady hand under pressure, and someone who thrives on bringing structure and insight to a dynamic business. Experience in the
architecture, engineering, or construction industry
is a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, payroll, and cash flow.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and support sustainable growth.
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, insurers, and other key financial partners.
  • Direct the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing analysis of financial performance versus plan.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement best practices to strengthen financial processes and mitigate risk.
  • Partner with the CEO to support long-term strategic planning and value creation initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success implementing and managing financial systems and processes.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Industry experience in architecture, engineering, or construction preferred but not required.
