Lang Real Estate Services, located in Dallas, TX, is a full-service commercial property management company specializing in high quality maintenance, repairs, and renovations in the DFW area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced commercial HVAC service technician. The successful candidate will have skills to diagnose, repair, test and perform preventative maintenance on commercial air conditioning equipment such as split systems and RTU's. We prefer additional experience in plumbing, electric, painting, and minor carpentry along with a good attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced company. A company van is provided along with basic tools and a uniform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests on high voltage and low voltage systems using tools such as a voltmeter to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement improvements in control design and functionality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding control operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including testing results and any modifications made to the systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working with electrical components, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Able to independently solve most of the trouble shooting air conditioning units issues.
  • Able to independently diagnose simple HVAC issues.
  • Ensure the timely completion of work, epically bid work.
  • Provide support and feedback for the junior technicians in the field.
  • Keep your truck clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Willingness to work until the job is done.
  • Understand the operations of HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, pumps, and VFD.
  • 24/7 responsiveness; on-call rotation.
  • Self-accountability and ability to hold others accountable.

Experience

  • Proven ability to work with high voltage systems as well as low voltage applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong on doing PMS on split systems and RTU.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years' experience with commercial HVAC systems
  • TDLR License and EPA Universal certified required
  • 3-5 years' experience with plumbing, mechanical and electrical.
  • Pass background check
  • Provide excellent references
