Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of HVAC design, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
  • Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and implement necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during service calls.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the construction or mechanical field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, air conditioning principles, and refrigeration processes.
  • Experience with appliance repair and equipment repair is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design.
  • Previous experience in field service or property maintenance is beneficial.
