Western Nursing Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aides (Para-Professional) to join our team for the upcoming school year. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of students in a dynamic and supportive school environment. STNAs and CNAs are welcome to apply for additional opportunities in home health and assisted living.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic, behavioral, and/or physical support to students under the direction of certified teachers and special education staff.
  • Assist in the implementation of lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities.
  • Support students with disabilities in both general and special education settings.
  • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and during arrival/dismissal.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in pediatrics or childcare.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
