About Us:

B&B Automotive and Superior Auto are locally owned and family-operated repair shops serving the Bryan–College Station area with integrity, transparency, and quality workmanship. We're looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage accounts payable and ensure accurate parts reconciliation between vendor statements, invoices, and shop records.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for keeping vendor accounts accurate and up to date. The most important duty is verifying that all parts invoices and statements from vendors match what was ordered, received, and billed, and that all credits and returns are properly applied. Accuracy and accountability are key in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly, ensuring all invoices are received and accounted for.
  • Verify parts pricing and quantities against purchase orders and Tekmetric entries.
  • Track and process returns, credits, and core charges with vendors.
  • Communicate with parts vendors, service advisors, and managers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized digital and paper vendor files.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as payments, deposits, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years bookkeeping or accounts payable experience (automotive experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required.
  • Familiarity with Tekmetric or other shop management systems preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently across both shop locations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
