A Wedding Venue Planner is someone who has a deep passion for planning, customer service and catering. Planners are problem-solvers with strong work ethic and leadership skills. A Venue Planner understands that client satisfaction is key, especially with venue planning and catering services. Must be well-organized and competent in vendor management. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates. Add a shot of enthusiasm and passion for the job and you'll be our ideal candidate. The goal is to organize unforgettable weddings that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand requirements for each wedding per client and management
  • Update event orders as needed
  • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
  • Ability to work one day a week until 8pm each week to accommodate client's appointments (no weekends are required). The other days your schedule would be 8am-5pm.
  • All hours are worked on-site at the main office in Minneapolis. Sorry, no remote work opportunities available at this time.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an event coordinator
  • A proven track record of organizing successful events
  • Have a "can-do" positive attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent vendor management skill
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred

Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
