Job Summary:

Drive the end-to-end delivery of our modern data platform as a Technical Program/Product Manager, owning multi-team programs that design, build, and scale a secure, cost-efficient Lakehouse architecture on AWS. You'll coordinate roadmaps across data engineering, platform, security, and product to land capabilities in Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, Delta Live Tables) and event-driven data products (e.g., AWS EventBridge, Kafka/Kinesis), spanning real-time streaming and batch pipelines. Responsibilities include dependency and risk management, defining program metrics/SLAs, and creating program-level dashboards and decks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of data platform initiatives across engineering, platform, security, and product teams.
  • Lead roadmaps, quarterly planning, and program execution for Databricks capabilities (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Jobs, DLT).
  • Manage programs involving real-time streaming and batch data pipelines (Kafka/Kinesis/Event Bridge).
  • Oversee migration from legacy ETL (Informatica or equivalent) to Lakehouse patterns.
  • Define SLAs, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting for program health.
  • Ensure cost optimization and FinOps discipline for cloud compute usage.
  • Run Agile ceremonies, manage dependencies, and drive risk mitigation.
  • Use GenAI tools (Cursor, , Vibe tools) for prototyping and documentation.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of TPM/Product Management experience with data platforms.
  • Strong experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, Workflows).
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS (S3, IAM, Event Bridge, Kinesis).
  • Experience delivering streaming + batch pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder communication, roadmaps, and exec reporting.
  • Experience with Informatica or enterprise ETL ecosystems.

Preferred Skills

  • FinOps/cost optimization for data compute.
  • Enterprise internal platform experience.
  • GenAI-driven product thinking.
