Owner/Operator - Delivery Driver - 16' Box Trucks wanted

Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor Delivery Driver with their own 16' box truck (liftgate required) in our Mobile, AL market for dedicated lanes. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes
As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries on a multi-stop route in and around the Mobile market. Most routes are approximately miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.
Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:
- Load freight from warehouse and deliver to designated stores
- Scanning in each carton is required at delivery.
- Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
- Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?
- Have your own working 16' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
- Meet insurance requirements - $1 million CGL, $1 million auto liability, $100,000 motor cargo
- Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
- Drivers must be 21 or older.
- Must have active DOT number with the FMCSA
