Job Description:

Machine Shop Helper

Bastech is seeking a quality driven individual looking to expand their knowledge and capabilities in a dual Additive/Subtractive Manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

· Follow verbal and written work instructions.

· Remove supports from additive parts using hand and pneumatic tools

· Bead blast castings and additive parts to achieve an even finish

· Use micrometers and calipers to check sizes

· Trim/finish plastic parts

· Remove ceramic molds from investment castings

· Effectively clean and prep parts for painting

· Ability to work with others to achieve the common goal

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

· Good communication skills

· Good applied math skills and solid mechanical aptitude

· Knowledge of blueprint reading / interpretation is preferred, not required

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Quality work ethic and Desire to learn
