**What

we're

looking for:**

Nexamp is looking to hire a People Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be 

responsible for

the administration

of all company benefits and leaves of absence

as well as a variety of other operational

projects and tasks to support the People team

.
 
This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of policies and procedures, and the ability to handle

and communicate

sensitive information with discretion

.

You will be hybrid out of our Boston Office, with 3 days a week expected. You will report to the

Director

, People Operations.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the administration of employee benefits programs such as health,

dental, vision

, life insurance, disability insurance, and

COBRA

.
- Provide guidance and

assistance

to employees on benefits inquiries and issues, ensuring they receive

timely

and

accurate

information

.

Work with vendors and management on any escalations.
- Manage the leave of absence process, including partnering with our vendor to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws.
- Maintain

company

intranet, ensuring all documents and materials are up to date and

accurate

, and that employees have quick access to information.
- Project

manage

annual open enrollment, including entering new rates/plans into HRIS system, helping to create employee communications,

and providing vendors with enrollment data.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure all

enrollments match between our vendors and payroll system.

Address any discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed to

maintain

consistency between all systems.
- Review and audit all bills related to benefits; address discrepancies as needed and

submit

to AP for processing.
- Lead the Benefits section of New Hire Orientation on a bi-weekly basis; hold benefits

training

s

as needed.
- Administer compliance training via our third-party platform

Ensure all

employees

are assigned the

appropriate

new

hire and annual

trainings

,

per

state law.
- Manage the visa application process for new and existing employees requiring work authorization. Act as a liaison between employees, legal representatives, and

management

to ensure proper documentation and compliance with immigration laws.
- Act as

back-up

for Payroll

as needed, including processing

and confirm

ing

accuracy of bi-weekly payroll process.
- Work on special projects, as needed.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of

3

years of

demonstrated

experience

in

benefits and leave administration.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Flexible

and ability to pivot quickly as business needs arise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Proficiency

in HRIS systems and reporting tools.
- Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
