Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to meet production targets and schedules.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor production line staff, fostering a productive work environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to minimize defects and waste.
  • Optimize production processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to maximize output.
  • Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including employee development and performance coaching.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and quality control principles.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making to optimize production efficiency and resolve operational issues.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Yellow Belt, Green Belt)
  • Experience with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to the workforce
  • Familiarity with automated production lines or robotics
