At HPY, a successful candidate will enjoy learning all stages of trial preparation and trial from start to finish and an opportunity to work with a seasoned team of experienced litigators.

HPY represents a variety of clients from global corporations to small local businesses and individual clients in high-risk litigation and business disputes across the country and U.S. Territories. The successful candidate will be a part of a national team of 150+ lawyers and professional staff spread across ten offices located in Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Napa, New York, St. Louis, and San Francisco.

Position responsibilities include:

  • Defense litigation
  • Trial preparation including strategy discussion, discovery, records review, client interview and witness preparation
  • Research into complex litigation areas
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Prepare and argue motions
  • Active California Bar license required

Practice Areas:

General Liability Defense, Auto Defense, Construction, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Professional Liability, Tort, Toxic Tort and Environmental

Compensation for this role generally ranges from $130,000 per year to $170,000 per year, dependent upon experience.
