Job Description Summary
The IT Product Owner is responsible for guiding the development and delivery of technology products within an organization. This position serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that product features align with business objectives and customer needs.
What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of HR processes (Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, Compensation)Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactorsFamiliar with integrations between core HR systems (i.e. SAP SF) and other 3rd party solutions (i.e. Payroll)
- Defines and effectively communicates to stakeholders the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Creates detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
- Prioritizes and maintains the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Works closely with development to ensure product features meet quality and functional standards.
- Conducts research on industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback.
- Manages release schedules and ensuring smooth delivery of features and updates.
- Analyzes product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Focuses on identifying and addressing local needs by gathering and prioritizing regional business requirements.
- Coordinates and oversees the execution of regional solutions by steering the implementation team to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensures effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to guarantee successful delivery of business outcomes.
- Creates and delivers engaging presentations for all levels of the organization.

- Required to travel up to 10% of the time.

- Proficient in the use of common office equipment and software – including: computers, printers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint

- Effective at managing projects, taking ownership of related processes and accountability for delivering high-quality outcomes
- Proficient at creating and engaging presentations
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required
- Master's Degree (MBA or similar) preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in product management or related roles required
- Prior work experience in project management for product delivery required
- Product Management Certifications (CPM) for managing products preferred
- Business Analysis Certifications (CBAP, IIBA-AAC) for business analysis skills preferred

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $107,000 to $135,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
