Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in delivering freight. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driver's license and have experience operating various types of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own truck while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations efficiently
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods
  • Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including bills of lading and inspection reports
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations

Experience

  • Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving, including delivery driver experience
  • Familiarity with operating various types of trucks such as dry van, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage freight logistics effectively while maintaining high standards of safety
  • Experience with route driving and understanding of geographical areas for efficient navigation
  • Knowledge of load securing techniques and freight handling best practices
