As a Security Professional - Tech/Media Patrol Full Time in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment. Through visible patrols and engagement, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the tech, media, and telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the location.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and authorizing entry as directed by site-specific policies.
• Assist in coordinating emergency response and/or evacuation procedures as required by the location's protocols.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as outlined by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, in accordance with state and/or local requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
