Job Description

As a Security Officer- - Cultural Site - Full Time in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a cultural institution location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. This driving post requires you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas within the cultural institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing directions, information, and general support as needed, contributing to a welcoming environment within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
