Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Lakewood, CA, for a Personal Banker at First City Credit Union. The Personal Banker will assist members with account inquiries, provide financial products and service recommendations, process transactions, and ensure excellent member experiences. They will open new accounts, cross-sell financial services, help members achieve their financial goals, and maintain compliance with credit union policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and communication skills for engaging with members and providing financial solutions
  • Experience with account openings, financial product sales, and cross-selling services
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and transaction processing
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills for maintaining member satisfaction and workflow efficiency
  • Proficiency with computer systems, financial software, and standard office applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable
